Transition to School Programme
At Tui Art Early Learning Centre, the Transition to School Programme has been exceptionally well-received and has garnered positive feedback. This program is designed to prepare our preschool children for a smooth transition to primary school. The updated schedule for our Transition to School Programme is as follows:
Monday: Focus on the “Letter of the Week” and engage in phonics songs.
Tuesday: Emphasise movement, dancing, and active listening to understand various actions.
Wednesday: Develop self-help skills, including serving food, packing bags, putting on and taking off clothes, learning about road safety, etc.
Thursday: Explore different careers and what individuals in those professions do.
Friday: Revisit the “Letter of the Week” and summarise the week’s learning activities.
In addition, our 4.5-year-old children will receive a Phonic Homework Book that they can take home for weekend practice if they wish.
We are committed to providing a comprehensive and engaging Transition School Programme that ensures our pre-schoolers are well-prepared for their next educational journey.
